3 Ton Under Slung Crane in Goa

S.K. Engineering Company’s 3 Ton Under Slung Crane is a single‑girder under‑running overhead crane engineered for applications where conventional top‑running EOT cranes or floor‑mounted columns are impractical. Running on the bottom flange of suspended runway beams, this configuration provides excellent coverage in congested or low‑headroom sheds while minimizing structural intrusion on valuable floor space.

With a rated capacity of 3 tons, the crane is well suited for light to medium‑duty material handling in engineering workshops, fabrication units, assembly lines, automotive and component warehouses. Typical operations include lifting and transferring parts, feeding machines, handling sub‑assemblies and moving finished goods or pallets within a bay or across multiple workstations.

The system can be configured with an electric chain hoist or wire rope hoist, selected according to lifting height, operating frequency and process demands. Standard parameter ranges for 3 ton underhung cranes include customizable spans, multiple lifting height options and optimized lifting and travel speeds that balance productivity with smooth, controlled load handling.

To enhance reliability and safety, the crane can incorporate features such as dual‑speed or VFD‑based motion control, overload protection, upper and lower hoist limit switches, travel limit switches, emergency stop and robust disc or shoe brakes. Pendant push‑button controls or wireless radio remotes are available to match plant ergonomics and safety requirements, allowing operators to maintain clear visibility and safe distance from the load.

The 3 Ton Under Slung Crane also helps optimize building usage by reducing wheel loads and distributing them efficiently on the supporting structure, which is important in existing industrial sheds. Combined with low maintenance needs and energy‑efficient drives, it delivers a long‑life, cost‑effective material handling solution that improves throughput and reduces manual handling risks.
