15 Ton Single Girder EOT Crane in Tamilnadu

The 15 Ton Single Girder EOT Crane from S.K. Engineering Company is designed for medium to heavy-duty applications in fabrication shops, engineering units, warehouses, and process plants. It uses a single bridge girder with an electric wire rope hoist to handle loads up to 15 tons safely while optimizing headroom and floor coverage in the bay.

Design and capacity
Single girder overhead configuration suitable for up to 15 ton safe working load in properly designed industrial duty service.

Configurable for different spans and lifting heights as per shed width, runway length, and hook approach requirements to cover the full working area.

Construction and components
Heavy-duty mild steel/box or I-beam girder with rigid end carriages and precision-machined wheels for smooth cross and long travel.

Industrial-grade wire rope hoist driven by high-torque motors and gearboxes, designed for frequent start–stop operations in production environments.

Safety and controls
Standard safety features can include overload protection, upper and lower hoist limit switches, cross and long-travel limit switches, and fail-safe electromagnetic brakes.

Operation via pendant push-button station or optional radio remote control, with emergency stop and interlocks to support safe, user-friendly use.

Advantages and applications
Single girder design offers a cost-effective solution compared to double-girder cranes while still providing reliable 15 ton performance when engineered to the correct duty class.

Suitable for loading–unloading, handling of heavy components, assembly line movement, and inter-bay transfer in sectors like fabrication, machining, engineering, and general manufacturing.
