Engineering Underhung Crane, also known as an under‑running or underslung overhead crane, is engineered to be supported from the building roof or runway structure and to move along the bottom flange of I‑beams or custom tracks. This configuration offers excellent side and end approaches, allowing the hook to reach closer to walls and obstructions, which increases usable working area compared with conventional top‑running cranes.
