2 Ton Single Girder EOT Crane in Eastkameng

The 2 Ton Single Girder EOT Crane from S.K. Engineering Company is designed for light to medium-duty industrial applications such as fabrication shops, warehouses, assembly lines, and process plants. It uses a single-girder bridge with an electric wire rope or chain hoist to provide efficient lifting and cross travel with minimal structural load on the building

Typical 2 ton single girder cranes in this range are offered with customized span and lifting height options, often covering spans from around 5 m up to more than 20 m and lifting heights from about 6 m upwards, depending on site requirements. This flexibility allows integration with existing runway beams and supports, while maintaining adequate headroom and hook approach for maximum usable floor coverage.

To ensure safe and reliable operation, the crane is generally equipped with upper and lower hook travel limit switches, cross-travel and long-travel limiters, overload protection, and fail-safe brakes on motion drives. Control options commonly include pendant push-button station suspended from the crane and optional radio remote control, with emergency stop functions and standardized safety interlocks as per IS 3177 and related guidelines.

The single-girder configuration provides advantages of cost-effective construction, reduced self-weight, and simpler installation compared to double-girder cranes of similar capacity. This design helps reduce the load on structural steel, minimizes maintenance, and offers compact, space-saving material handling for plants with limited headroom or narrow bays.
